This is a protected period that allows you time to get conditionally approved for the loan and clear to close.
Order the appraisal as soon as you go under contract. This contingency protects you in the event the appraisal comes back lower than the sales price of the home.
Schedule all utilities to be transferred in your name on date of possession.
